A festival of color, music, love, and art; AFROPUNK this past weekend brought out the personified form of Black Girl Magic.
This past weekend, AFROPUNK in Brooklyn, NY celebrated it’s annual music festival celebrating the art, culture, fashion, and music of Afro-futurism, alternative black and poc, LGBTQ, and everyone in between who ever felt left out of an umbrella category.
The festival always brings a plethora of amazing art and fashion combined to weave beautiful colors, textures, and stories. Musical acts this year include FKA Twigs, Jill Scott, Toro Y Moi, Tierra Whack, Rico Nasty and much more amazing black musical artist and bands.
These images below are all shot by the talented Bria Celest and shows you just a glimpse of the creativity and magic that came out to enjoy the weekend.
