Chicken Noodle Soup by BTS’s J-Hope featuring Becky G just dropped… and YouTube is already broken.
I’ll be honest, I had my reservations about this collaboration. Not because I denied that this song wouldn’t be a bop (it is), but because whenever a K-Pop artist collaborates with a Western artist I feel like you need to keep an eye on them. Especially, when it comes to BTS some Western artists can come off to be clout chasers cough cough Charlie Puth. With that being said, I am willing to put my side-eyeing aside. Its time to celebrate the fact that BTS is officially back from hiatus and this is probably one of many BTS songs to come out before the end of 2019!
To get better acquainted with how Chicken Noodle Soup came to be, here are three thing you should know:
1* This was filmed last month during BTS’s official hiatus. It was ~very~ top secret.
I see JHope left Korea to LA but now LA is
sending us back Jay! 😳🤯

2* The young dancers that stole the show are from The Lab dance crew in LA.

3* Hopefully, this is obvious, but in case you didn’t know this song is referencing the early 2000s Hip-Hop hit “Chicken Noodle Soup” by Webstar and Young B.
The bridge literally goes, “chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, wit a soda on tha side”.
At this time, we will not be commenting on Hobi’s hair towards the end of the video. Thank you for giving us our space during this time.
